- Hand Geometry Scan: Hand geometry is unique for each individual and identify individuals based on their hands. Basically, scanner captures images of the hand from different angles and compares to database to match.

Retinal Scan: It is one of the highly secure method to identify individuals based on the pattern in the retina.
- Advantages
- Retinal patterns are unique to each person and this makes harder to spoof.
- Retinal patterns don’t change throughout individual’s life that gives a long term reliability.
- Disadvantages
- Implementation this method is more expensive than other methods.
- Some people may have concern about infrared light as this method is implemented by using infrared lights technology.
